humming snails

On Wednesday my college friend and her kids came for the day. They taught my kids that if you hum at snails, they come out of their shells for you. It actually seems to work!

Oh yes, snails are great lovers of music, especially sole music, and the vibrations from a hummed tune will set their feet to tapping sole to writhing. Mind, they are not the fastest dancers on earth, so it may take awhile to discern that they are moving to the beat...
