Correction

The BIL's Monster Truck is an F250, not an F150. mr. flea mocked me roundly when I expressed consternation over whether or not the truck would fit under a railway overpas labeled 11 feet 8 inches. But the pickup bed is chest-high off the ground! The thing is huge!

Also, if I ran the world, children staying at my house under 10 years of age would be in bed by 9 pm at latest, so we could have a modicum of adult conversation, and there would be less crankiness.

Finally interested in walking, a little, with help

So last night at the bookshop (known to some 'round these parts as "House of Soulsuck") I held the Fussa's hands and urged her to go Daddy. And in a hesitant and somewhat perplexed fashion, she did. In general I'm trying to let her do stuff at her own pace and don't spend a lot of time trying to give lessons. But this was so cute.

We bought the Sandra Boyton book "Doggies" because when I read it to her in the store she was squeeeing in glee.
