Overall, I would like to call do-over on the whole week. However, I am at work, feeling weak as a kitten (except, in my experience, kittens are remarkably hardy and strong little critters - weak as a newborn kitten maybe?).

Tuesday night I barely slept - maybe some 20 minute snatches. No more stomach bug, but I have been eating very carefully as everything feels rather tentative. At various points Wednesday I thought I was going to die of exhaustion (I was home alone with the bunny girl from 1-7, and she wouldn't nap, and thank god it was gorgeous so we could go to the park and she could play while I sat on the ground limply.)

But O the night! To bed at 7:30, cried bitterly at 9:30 so I nursed her to sleep by 10 but then! She slept straight through until 6:30! Yes, I had the stereotypical wakeup moment at 6 "why hasn't my kid cried oh god she died in the night." I didn't get to sleep until 11:30 - I have this terrible phenomenon when exceedingly tired of being so panicky about being unable to sleep that I am, in fact, unable to sleep - but I am hanging in there so far today.

Way to go with the sleeping! I hope this is the beginning of an era of more sleep for flea and mr. flea.

Feel better soon!

So she slept through the night? Let's hope it's a new trend.
