fleaI planted 68 tulips (cheap ones from Home despot), raked 86 tons of leaves, yanked up 2 of the remaining tomatoes, and generally tidied. J. from over the way was great, and Casper enjoyed herself I think.
This morning as he was packing to leave, mr. flea discovered that a mouse had been in his dopp kit. After much "eww" and removal of poop, he discovered that the mouse had nibbled into the end of his travel tube of Crest and eaten a substantial amount of toothpaste. hee! There are still lots of mouse droppings in our under-sink cabinet, but that will have to be dealt with another day.
Stupid useless cat! (Okay, she is a very nice cat. But not a mouser.)
Have prepared for the precision maneouveres that comprise tomorrow, when I leave the house at 7:30, return at 8 or so pm, having picked up baby, gone to meeting, and returned home, all without a car! I'll make it through the week on planning, provided it doesn't rain.
