UGA has started an Engineering program. It was approved by the Board of Regents last month (barely). Now they are posting tenure-track jobs, including one in mr. flea's subdiscipline that starts next August. Interesting. Except as far as I know he has never taught. Do they care about teaching in engineering programs?

Dude. That could be awesome. Did he never have to TA? Can he play up some ancient tutoring, or teaching his coworkers something?

I always vote for applying. That and walking into their building and talking to anyone he can meet. He's personable, that could work.

Well, they don't have a building yet, I think. They only got approved a month ago! But I think there is a Guy in Charge who someone in the PTO Mafia knows.
