I am turning into my mother

I am becoming obsessed with clothes and bedding.

Sigh.

What I really want is stripey tights and a stripey cardigan. Or dots. Or a plain cardigan with ribbon trims. I am interested in bright colors and stripes and dots. Or patchwork.

I *need* a wool blanket to fit a queen-size bed, because the twin blanket is not cutting it, but they are all over $150 at Garnet Hill, and for that money I should just buy a chair.

Um, I think a chair would not be very comfortable to put over yourself in bed on a chilly night. As for me, I just pulled out the duvet from the closet, after the 3rd straight night of below-50. Of course, last night was like 70, but it is easier to throw covers off in the middle of the night than to go find them on the top shelf of the closet.

I think something can be arranged in the stripey tights arena. YOu have seen my stripey toe socks, right? I mean, they are cool and funny because they are toe socks, but the stripes just make them perfect.
