Off for the weekend to Boston for family memorial service. Hope I haven't forgotten anything major, as I packed in great distraction last night. I have added at least 6 things to the suitcase since first closing it. It has been a long week - nanny's ex-husband died late Tuesday night, and she's been out all week, and we've been scrambling. Honestly, I've spent all my emotional energy this week on dealing with backup babysitting schedules. It's a good thing I have a low-pressure job.

Pull the string, northerners.
