So far, pudding, mashed potatoes, and scrambled eggs for the win! I think I want a milkshake later, or a smoothie made with fruit without tiny tiny seeds, which I assume is a deep no.

I was milkshakes and that's all for a long time. And then suddenly late in the day I became floppy and had to sit on the floor and eat peanuts one by one (fine, as long as I swallowed them whole).

My funny was that they gave me an opioid as well as super-Advil, and I traded down to the super-Advil toot sweet, because the opioid had me nodding off in the middle of conversations.

I have Lortab, which is hydrocodone. Woot! Actually, I took the first while I was still numb, and it's been 5 hours, and I still feel fine. I have wicked high pain tolerance (see also: unmedicated labor) so we'll see how much I use it. Dentist said things might be worse tomorrow. The way I feel right now, I could go to work tomorrow.

Good-bye, wisdom teeth! How's the bruising? (When I had mine out, I ended up with two black eyes, and saggy chipmunk cheeks covered with blue & green bruises. Delightful!)

Mine were all erupted, and I wore a deeply comical ice head wrap for the first 6 hours or so (I felt like a cartoon character), so so far at least, no bruising.
