Note to self: you are not an expert enough baker to get creative with recipes. The zucchini bread is oddly jellular made with applesauce.

I've made zucchini bread with diced apples (as in, halve the amount of zucchini needed and use diced apples for the rest), but not applesauce. Though I understand you can substitute applesauce for oil in baking recipes, I've never tried that.
