We're watching The Sound of Music on tv and Casper is absolutely captivated. Unfortunately it's going to run very late so she'll have to go to bed long before it's done. What I was little, we had to go to bed when the children sang, "So Long, Farewell."

Also, this is the first time I've ever found Christopher Plummer sexy. Hmm. I must be getting old.

I always had to go to bed with the children when I was little as well.

Also, when I watched SoM several years ago and found Christopher Plummer sexy, I decided that meant I was definitely a grown-up.

Me three! And therefore for years and years I thought the movie was a lighthearted romp about individuality and romance. Rolfe's betrayal is still traumatic to me.

Well, I don't think I've sat through The Sound of Music since about then, really. Also I was scarred by seeing him do Macbeth rather badly in high school once.

mr. flea has never seen TSoM! He's like, "Does this guy loosen up? What a jerk!"
