I got into Library School on Friday.

I really like the neighborhood around Clarendon, in Arlington, especially the sprayground, but omg the housing prices, they burns.

Jefferson Memorial: still good. (Cherries? Also good.)

Grandfather: not as decrepit as I expected.

Dillo hates long car rides, even with his car seat forwards. This made for a trying Monday.

I am having a hairpocalypse and cannot get anyone to answer the phone at my haircuttery.

My thumbs are sore from moving books, and I miscalculated and have a big (temporary) problem.

So I am going out to get oreos or other suitable calories (must. gain. weight.) while I ponder the solution.

(Also, Clarendon was my childhood nabe. Of course, it was affordable back then for the likes of mid-grade civil servant single parents.)

The house next door to my friends, 2 blocks from the Metro, is for sale for $1.1 million. But they think he's overpriced by about 200K...

Also, across the street was a house of Looniversity students/grads who spent the whole day sitting on the porch drinking. Just like they do here!

Why are you looking at Clarendon prices? As well look for a house in Brookline. The Midwestern Captivity location is likely to be way cheaper, right?
