still sick

Aaaaall weekend. I have to get vertical in the night for an hour or so to take more tylenol, relieve the pressure, drink water, and cough. Tonight I woke from a dream in which I was responsible for the sinking of a piate ship that was also (somehow) my Looniversity library (except filled ith small children). I wandered the corridors trying to make an appointment with and seek absolution or at least advice from Richard Slotkin, a history professor at Wesleyan (http://www.wesleyan.edu/wesmaps/course9900/faculty/slotkin231.htm). I have met this guy - I went to school with his son - but haven't clapped eyes on him since 1988 or so.

Am unable to nap, due to head snot.

Took Casper to dentist for the first time. Everyone was very sweet to her and she was very good. She seems to have inherited our good teeth, thugh they told us to floss her. Hold off on x-rays until next time. Cost shocking. Note to self: next year, consider that the dental insurance may in fact be worth it.

Am now doing household errands (laundry, dishes, Quicken, vacuum, arranging for Casper's school health forms). Maybe this qualifies as "resting" so I'll get better? Would like to get better.
