There is, at present, a black chicken on my front porch on [really big one-way street through the neighborhood]. This is the second time it has decided to visit today.

It has a tag on its leg, but it won't let me get close enough to see
what it says.

Anyone?

1. "If you manage to catch 'um, we'll be firing up the grill on [cross street] around 5:30pm."

2. a couple of hours later, from the same poster:
"THIS IS A JOKE EMAIL!!!!
Appologies to all the wild chickens in the neighborhood that I may have offended. Also, thank you for all the offers to bring side dishes, but no, we are not having a neighborhood grill out.
And for all the chicken lovers out there, no we really would not throw the wild chicken on the grill, we prefer the plastic-wrap- foam-tray variety.
