Medical notes

The Dillo spit up like a freakin' fountain after I fed him at 1am. He really wasn't very enthusiastic about nursing (had slept since 7:15, in his crib!! after a week of up every 3 hours every night) but did, and then 5 minutes later the "reverse" switch flipped on. I put him in bed with me (after changing him, natch, because honestly it was like a glass of water had been thrown at him) so I could keep an eye on him. He did nurse just fine at about 4 and kept it down, but then when I fed him at 7 he fountained again. Aspect is a little subdued, but not particularly sick, and clearly not in pain or anything (mr. flea instantly went "what if it's an intestinal blockage!, but no, those are painful.) So we'll see; perhaps he is just rejecting all milk from my right breast...

And Casper is phlegmy; snuffy nose and cough both. But not feeling/acting sick.

Spring!!

What's that you say? It's only January 6th? But, but - forsythia is in bloom! Snowdrops and crocus! Report of a brave daffoldil! Seventy degrees today! We've had maybe 3 hard frosts so far this "winter." I have barely needed to wear a coat when I go to work, at 7:15 am, often before the sun is really up - there was maybe 1 week of good solid coat weather. Today was tee-shirt weather.

I mean, it was a nice day and all, but this is getting me down. I gotta move north (except they apparently aren't far behind us in Boston at the moment.)
