One year check up

The Bunny Girl is 23 lbs 9.5 ounces (75%ile), and 30 and 1/4 inches (90%). Lookin' good all around. Had blood drawn for a lead test and happily we got an expert nurse who found a vein with no trouble at all. Spent the drive home chewing on her band-aids.

She stood up by herself and put one foot forward this morning.

Busy busy busy week. Gotta go get to it.

I should work

But I am very surfy today.

I want it to be winter (and me to be rich) so I can buy the following things for my baby: corduroy overalls, fleece mittens and a hat with a chin strap, a cute girl coat in rose or floral fleece like the ones I saw for $150 at the chichi kid store, dresses once she can really walk and won't be just crawling on the hems and getting annoyed, stripey tights...

One of the things I hate about me: my thrall to consumer america and emotional enjoyment of buying stuff.
