I'd kill, practically, to have an arts and crafts house like that. Also, my mortgage is 2/3 that, on my secty's salary - you're double income, right? Is it only out here that the entire real estate and business world will move heaven and earth to get people into buying a house? You can get no-down or 5% down loans out here. A good realtor ought to be able to do the same thing for you there. I hope you get it.
