I am so far behind at b.org that I may never catch up, and I've found this weird work ethic lately so am actually working (this post notwithstanding, natch, and can I just say what a fun word notwithstanding is?)
Am tempted by a job posting that would nearly double my salary. There's no reason I couldn't do the job, except one small sentence in the "requirements" - but it's something that is completely trainable. I asked a colleague about it, and she said she was perplexed by the job description and (high) salary, since it is a pretty straightforward job, mostly workflow management and public service. Which is exactly what I thought. Am now half excited, half feeling inadequate, but seriously thinking of applying. Would have to develop space age futuristic visionary high tech speechification to mollify the person I'd report to.
