Cold continues; fever broken (Cindy, it got as high as 102.7, but was generally in the 101.5 range), all snot all the time now. Actually crankier with snot alone. Managed to expel boogers all over Mummy's shirt, which luckily Mummy found amusing. Mummy and Daddy very very tired.

I was invited to dessert last night at a local swanky boite (massively crowded at 9pm on a rainy Tuesday?!) and really enjoyed myself. Met 3 new people & got on well. Ate lemon souffle with cherry compote and a far too skimpy portion of whipped cream. Could have eaten 3 of them. The problem with swanky boites is, no super-size!

mr. flea possibly a little jealous that I am making social connections. Must find a way for him to meet people who are not engineering graduate students.

Note to self: stop reading b.org. It is making you all pissy, and you have work to do.

Note to improve self's mood: First Farmer's Market of the season this Friday.

flea, did you call your pediatrician? That's not alarmingly high in a baby. They do spike fevers higher than older children and adults would spike. Sometimes though, colds turn into ear infections. I realize you've noted it has since broken, so this isn't important. I'm just back-asswardly trying to explain why I asked. Sometimes, if it's above 101, it can indicate an infection of some sort. When you mentioned she wasn't sleeping, I just erm...am shutting up now.

You know. Mother stuff. :)

I'm glad it broke. I wish you could have had more dessert.
