breaky crayon Casper
Aug. 4th, 2005 09:32 amWell, actually, more like eaty crayon Casper. She finally did it - took a proper bite off a crayon and chewed it up and THEN came to my saying "Mommy, look," at her mouth filled with little red bits and goo. It was the washable sort of crayon, so less waxy and more melt-in-your-mouth-y than your standard Crayola would have been. I fished big bits out with my finger, wiped the tongue and teeth as best I could with a washcloth, and then we brushed teeth to get the bits out of the molars. Yucky yuck! Casper's getting to be more of a danger to herself and the world around her at the moment - she's been a fairly docile and not too curious kid so far, really. And now when I was hoping she was old enough to be developing some sense, instead she's developing the desire and increased ability to get into stuff. I guess she is a ways too young for sense yet.

Date: 2005-08-04 10:32 pm (UTC)Scott and I have both had Fifth Disease (we're way past the contagious stage). I'm still having (very minor now) joint discomfort. He's not feeling well though, and his gout has flared up. I have to talk to Nora.
