cute/clever update

fleaWhen I proposed our outing to the swimming pool on Sunday afternoon, Casper said, "Yeees" and then started dancing around the living room saying "hurry hurry hurry!" Double cute points for the fact that she still has trouble with the letter r, so it sounded like "huwwy, huwwy, huwwy!"
mr. flea was wearing a t-shirt with the url of my place of employ on the back the other night, and Casper was sitting behind him. She started saying letters of the alphabet: "J, I," and we figured out that she was noticing the letters on the shirt. When mr. flea said "A, B, C, D" she repeated it and also came up with other flights of the alphabet, including everyone' favorite, "LMNOP!"
At the pool, she sat on the edge and asked me "What's that" for each letter in the stencilled "No Diving" sign.
Eli who moved away's mother reports that they had peas for dinner and he announced, "Casper LOVES peas!" It is true. She's a pea-loving girl.
