I harvested the first tomato of the season last night. Cherokee Purple. Haven't eaten it yet - am letting it sit on the counter to finish ripening. I picked it a couple of days early because I was afraid the birds would get it.
I've got some crazyball sized green tomatoes on two of my three plants, but my big task this week is getting rid of the sudden overgrowth of burdock that's taken over part of our yard.
