We cut Casper's hair tonight, with her sitting on a stool in the kitchen, mr flea reading and me cutting. My baby! I just cut off the long curls at the nape of the neck, tidied it up into a below-the-ears bob. It's very cute, I hope not too boyish. But, my baby!

Yes, of course I saved the curls in an envelope.

What will the nanny say? Ellen's hair has never been cut.

Other than trimming her bangs, I haven't been able to bring myself to cut Franny's hair yet. I'm so in love with her curls. But she ends up looking like such a ragamuffin!
