Squeaky doesn't have access to the cat food, but she does know how to climb into the dog crate and help herself. She was unpleased when she went in for thirds and I picked her up and tried 'sweeping' her mouth with my finger.
She actually goes to sleep pretty well now, and she rarely gets really upset when we put her into the crib for sleep -- it took about two weeks of me standing there, holding her blanket down so she couldn't get up, and talking with her and singing to her for up to three hours, but she finally finds her crib a peaceful, nonthreatening place. But in the middle of the night, she wants boob. I'm noticing if I send the husband in to see how she's doing, she'll settle for a hug and a snuggle and maybe one song from Daddy and then she's back to sleep. When summer vacation hits, I'm hoping we can convert her to all-night sleeping more regularly.
(Hi. Mind if I add you? Squeaky's 15 months; we're in Wisconsin.)
