weekend, mother's day

fleaIt's a lovely spring weekend, which means highs in the 70s and sunny - perfect for my colleague's outdoor wedding yesterday (we weren't there, just hoping for good weather for her).
Have accomplished:
groceries (did not make farmer's market, mr flea saying he is "tired of strawberries" ?!?)
dealt with last loose ends and sent off summer nanny schedule
bathed (though I just noticed I neglect to put on deodorant today - I have a real problem with this!)
mowed back lawn
finally removed last vestiges of last summer's accidental compost pile from our parking spot, used to mulch various mulch-needy places
chatted with assorted neighbors
multiple park visits
successful appearance at 2 year old birthday/adult cocktail party, thanks to appropriate imbibing and presence of people I actually knew well enough to talk to
3 loads of laundry
laid out, cut out and stared to pin slipcover for seat of chair (note: this is a red-letter accomplishment)
Notably not accomplished:
any house cleaning
