happy day!

We are running away tonight - driving out to Hickory to spend the night and get up early to shop for deeply discounted furniture. With our 18 month old. I may be insane, but this is still making me happy. We're escaping!

Also happy-making is I had an idea and talked to two people and then with one of them talked to two bosses and then one boss talked to big boss and big boss said "write a charge, we'll make this committee!" So we might actually accomplish something in an area that has been frustrating me for aeons.

Sometimes I wonder if it is healthy that mr flea and I call each other up in the middle of the day to talk about how much we love our daughter. Shouldn't we have more to talk about than goo-goo parent stuff? And yet, WE LOVE HER SO MUCH!

Things mr. flea has said to me in the last 2 days that completly made sense in context but are funny without it:
"Just put some neosporin in your belly button and shut up!"
"So then the super pilates machine ninja cops arrived..."
