The info I got when we got Pumpkin the H1N1 vaccine was that she'd need two doses. We got FluMist, because that's all that was available. My understanding is that kids will need two doses of the H1N1 vaccine no matter which one they get.

And yeah, you can get the seasonal and the H1N1 vaccines on the same day, even if one is a FluMist. You CAN'T get two FluMist vaccines on the same day, though.

Good luck. We'll have Pumpkin vaccinated against the seasonal and H1N1 once we go back for her second dose of H1N1 (you wait about a month between doses). We're on the priority list for adult H1N1, since we have a newborn. But no one in our county seems to have that vaccine yet, so we've just had our seasonal flu shots. Of course, there doesn't seem to be much of anything but H1N1 circulating out here right now, so those aren't really much help!
