Harvest o' hair
Jul. 31st, 2004 06:59 pmHarvest: 1 cuke, 1 san marino tomato, 2 too-big zucchini (it was a busy, rainy week). We are in a tomato lull, as it rains a great deal. They'll probably all ripen while we're away. Gladiolas have started to bloom. Lettuce finally bolting.
Bought a vaierty of herloom tomatoes at the farmer's market today. Tonight was the taste test between Black Krim (acidic, salty, juicy) and The One Whose Name We Forgot (classic tomato taste with a green/grassy finish). Tomorrow: Pineapple and Red Zebra.
I got my hair cut today and am still settling in to it. I'd describe it as a sort of shag. It wants product so its volume is chunky and piece-y instead of poofy. Must acquire product. Not sure what product - gel? Some kind of wax? I'd also maybe get the part at the back of my neck a bit shorter next time. It has flippy pieces, but is in no way cute (this is good). It may make me resemble Jane Fonda in Klute (this is less good). Talked about highlights in the future but I worry about the cost/maintenance.
