Republican U.S. Rep. Paul Broun said Monday he fears President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship.

No, no, not at all, Paul. You don't sound even a little bit paranoid there, neighbor. I'm sure that building an American Gestapo is right at the top of Barack's list (right under "Find new pediatrician in D.C." and "Close down Guantanamo.")
Sometimes things that sound crazy and off base are crazy and off base.
Broun also introduced the bill banning the sale of pornography on military bases.
As far as I can tell, the only representatives from Georgia who are not wackaloons or involved in questionable business dealings are John Lewis and, fortunately, my rep, Hank Johnson.
That includes:
Lynn Westmoreland - tried to put the 10 commandments in the House of Representatives, call Obama "uppity"
Phil Gingrich - diagnosed Terri Schiavo long distance, called Guantanamo a model facility and defending conditions at Walter Reed
David Scott - poster child for funneling government funds into his personal accounts
