Intelligence from the long-crotch, flat-butt brigade: Add to your list the potential of Ralph Lauren and Talbot's. In both cases I have found flattering trousers (dress-styles) that as a side benefit are usually made with very long legs. The Talbot's pair I just bought ($118 down to $16, at the outlet, woo hoo outlet store in Woburn) I am going to have to hem to make them shorter.
I think the crazy-long legs is sometimes also true at Banana Republic, or anyway Flatmate's sister asked me to teach her how to hem, upon realizing that her BP pants were too long for her even when she was wearing heels.
