I found out this past Monday that our workplace will be closed Christmas Eve, so I'll have eleven days in a row off. I haven't had that much time off in a row since I was unemployed after I dropped out of grad school.
Apparently the decision was made months ago, but no one ever bothered to mention it to either me or the guy who has the office next to mine. We only found out by accident.
