What a clever boy, to know that the Red Sox cap is appropriate attire.

Matilda is fascinated by Dillo! She'd sit here on my lap all morning just watching him bop around with his hat and his book over and over if I let her.

Aww, so cute! I like when you post videos, I'm sad I won't be seeing either of them for a long time! Even if I haven't in a long time, ti seemed like I always COULD be seeing them soon, when I was in DC!

What book would you recommend getting for a coworker's baby shower? The theme is books, but most of hte ones I loved are older, and I'd like to get something slightly more likely to be read while I still work at the place, y'know?

In VERY HEAVY rotation right now, all board books: Brown Bear, Brown Bear and From Head to Toe (Eric Carle), Hug (Jez Alborough), Hairy Maclary (Lynley Dodd), Jamberry, Maisy's Fire Engine and a couple other Maisy books, Down in the Woods at Sleepytime, My Many Colored Days (Suess), Eyes Nose Fingers and Toes, Barnyard Dance. Board books with rhymes and bright colored simple pictures are great. Anything that makes the parents sing or make farm animal noises is a plus.
