fleaSo, I booked it home and made it by 3;15, when Casper's teacher was supposed to show up. She's not here yet.
Other reasons I am not very impressed with Teacher so far:
-Casper was told not to bring toys to school with her today. Couldn't that have been something to mention at te Open House, instead of making her do something wrong on the first day?
-The district sent out an extensive list of things Casper needed to bring to school (clothes, towel for nap, school supplies.) Today the teacher sent home another list that is twice as long, and includes things like "zip lock bags (all sizes)" "paper plates" "Crayola brand colored pencils" (when I already bought and sent in some other brand.) I know se probably doesn't have a supply budget, but I feel like I have to back a truck up to the school. Also, be specific! How many paper plates, what size? ALL sizes of Zip lock bags? Even the ones I could fit my child into?
In good news, my father remembered Casper's birthday. This may be because my baby sister is at home at the moment and reminded him, but hey, it's a start.
