I shouldn't worry too much about kitty. Animals seem to recognize the difference between toddlers and children who should actually know better. My dog once got surrounded by a mob of toddlers, and he just stood there and took it stoically, all the while giving me his best "please help me" look. And it seems like kitty has already bonded with Casper, so I think they'll be okay. The cat knows that she's still a lot faster than Casper, and can get to places that the baby can't reach if it gets to be too much.
