Dillo eight months
Mar. 11th, 2007 07:22 pmWe're in the crusty stage - in addition to the two months of nose crustiness due to continual low-level colds, we now have the food crustiness. He eats anything we put in his mouth, up to an including a small bit of feta cheese tonight. Will self-feed veggie booty, cooked peas, cheerios. Would probably eat cheerios all day long if I kept 'em coming on the high chair tray. Have I mentioned he hates having his face wiped?
He's still not fully crawling, though he can go backwards (http://www.flickr.com/photos/casperflea/418051762/) and can rotate while remaining seated, and gets up an all fours and rocks, or gets up on hands and toes. He really wanted to go forward today (to get Casper's block castle) but no luck.
Aside from the miracle sleep night this week, we're still up pretty much every 3 hours at night. On the plus side, he goes down like a dream at 7 (or 6:30 even), in his crib. Some day...
He's a happy, smiley boy. At daycare they say, "He's so good!" but I said, "They're all good; he's sure easy, though." Here's the offical 8th month photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/casperflea/418051781/
