we have a sickie

fleaCasper came home with a fever - 101.5 according to my half-assed measurement. And she's had a very phlegmy throat since yesterday. Is now in bed in jammies being babied and eating peanut butter bread for dinner.
I think this is her first fever since last January, when she had a "new school" sick couple of weeks. It's certainly nice to have the notice that someone will likely have to stay home with her tomorrow (I think it will be me - I could use the time to work from home decently.)
The Dillo has a dry nose, which bugs him but doesn't produce boogers, so there's not much to be done, except luxurious baths for the humidity (he likes baths, and floating, and doesn't seem to even mind when Casper grabs his scrotum.) I hope he doesn't get Casper's bug, but odds are he will.
