I was surprised that it was almost as hard to start Isaac in daycare as it was to start Frances. I knew how much his caregivers already loved him even before his first day (because I had been bringing him by when I dropped off Frances and the Head Teacher was always kissing his toes and asking when she was going to get him). So I'd say that your concerns are totally normal, and that you don't have to worry. He'll thrive.
