two sickies

Dillo had a 3.5 hour nap, a 1 hour nap, and a half hour nap at school yesterday, so my first thought was, "He's getting sicker." Then I went to get Casper and she said her head hurt. We waited for the bus an unconscionably long time, in the rain, and Casper cried a lot of the way home from the bus stop. I got her home and in bed; she's running a decent fever that Motrin didn't do much for, but isn't otherwise stuffy or cold-like. She's not very hungry and says she is sore all over. (It's still strange to me that she can TELL me what's wrong!) Dillo also ran some fever in the night, and is even more boogery and drippy-eyed than he was all week. Right how he's eaten cheerios and is playing and producing mucus, but I think he'll take a monster AM nap soon. She's in pjs on the couch picking at some strawberries and a cup of milk and talking our ears off in a daydreamy/whiny sort of way. Today's plan is to stay home, make beef stew, and nap to the extent Casper allows.

I hope she gets better fast, since we have a playdate scheduled for tomorrow AM and a birthday party for the PM, at which a REAL PONY is scheduled to appear (a surprise for the children, though RFMom warned the parents so we dress the kids appropriately.)

tooth 3

I forgot, on top of all this, Dillo's 3rd tooth is coming in. It's the top right lateral incisor, and it's just barely though this mornng.
