Jan. 30th, 2007 09:35 amI seem to have a fair amount of bad news lately - and I post it here to pass along, because it's hard to bear in isolation.
One of my coworkers has stage 4 metastasized cancer. They can't even figure out where it started from. She's still at work, but will start chemo on Monday. The prognosis is not good at all, though. She's youngish - children are 14 and 19, and I'd bet she's under 50.
It's so hard.
