Family health report:

Casper came home from school with hives yesterday. No clue as to what the cause might be. Doesn't seem uncomfortable, but still. I've never had hives, so they seem bizarre to me.

The Dillo ran a low-grade fever last night (100.5). Seems fine this AM, but I bet he's sickening for his first cold. Or it could be teething, though Casper never ran a fever with teeth.

The kids came home from school with a notice that a case of Fifth Disease has been identified in one of the infant rooms. I don't think Casper's has it, and obviously not the Dillo either.

mr. flea is going down fast with a cold. Chest congestion, achy, the usual. He definitely has the weakest constitution in the family.

I have post-nasal drip, causing sore throat, so I am coldifying, too.

It's going to be a laid-back sicky weekend, I see.

At this late date, I've recently gotten kind of obsessed with reading blogs. I know, so 2003!!1! But it feels like there are suddenly people writing lots of good stuff on topics I'm interested in (libraries and social networking, parenting stuff), or topics I know nothing about but still find fascinating (neonatal medicine). I am sure these things are not new, but they've finally hit me.

Do you use a blogreader to keep this stuff organized? I had been following 8-10 things that had LJ feeds, but that's not as practical. Too many things to bookmark, now, too. How do you do it, if you do it?

(I also finally got a gmail account yesterday. Like I said, LAME.)
