Things that suck
Oct. 27th, 2004 09:01 amThe splinter I have had in my thumb for 10 days, that I only notice when I am at work and have no tweezers, and forget when I am at home and have tweezers, that is starting to become a permanent part of my anatomy.
The blues I have had badly for 2 days.
The walk to fetch the baby from S's new house - it takes more than an hour from work to home-with-baby.
Cranky coughing baby who whine-cried most of the walk because she wanted to get out of the stroller and play.
Work. Like the giganticest hoover of suck.
My bad attitude that makes the work sucking worse.
Things that do not suck:
A warm snuggly husband when I climb back into bed at 2 am.
Cocoa. Also hot cider.
Good smelling fall leaves.
Red Sox winning.
Sleepy snuggly nursing baby.
Bad attitude and mood, begone!
