Okay, I'm alive!

I slept. Casper was cooperative and slept too. (This napping thing, it's brilliant!) I am as human as a usually am at this time of the week.

I have been reading www.dooce.com and highly recommend it as a much much funnier take on the whole "oh my god I have a baby" thing than my feeble whinings. Plus, my mother isn't an Avon World Sales Leader.

In baby poo news, she had several poops recently that were like real person poops - mushier, but not like peanut butter. No more of the neon orange breastmilk poops for us! This morning was once again liquid, however, apparently due to avocado. I didn't see it - go team mr. flea. (And if you're squicked by baby poo, why the heck are you reading this thing!?)

House Cleanliness

I often see/hear people berate themselves for their lack of domestic cleanliness. And it turns out they are already cleaning the house much more often than I do! So for all of you who think you are uncleanly slobs, here is the ugly truth about me:

All chores listed as how often I think I should do them/how often they actually get done. Actually, despite the "I should" here, I am totally okay with the state of my house, and clutter bothers me more than dirt.

Vacuum and sweep: weekly/every other week, sometimes every 3rd.
Clean bathroom (toilet/sink; does not include tub or mopping): weekly/every other week.
Clean tub: every couple of weeks/when I can't stand the scunginess and/or want to have a bath, which is in practice every couple of months.
Mop anything: every couple of months/hahahahahaha. I do not mop. mr. flea has been known to mop, generally once every 6 months or so.
Change sheets/towels: weekly/about once a month, unless there is pee involved.
Wash dishes: daily/sort of daily, maybe every other day. Sometimes low-priority pans sit for several days.
