flea1. I neglected to mention here that mr. flea is now a US Patent author - a patent he wrote the application for, for software he played a key role in writing, in 2002 at The Company Run By The Crazy Dude, was approved last month. It is patent number 7,013,248. He's an Inventor!
2. Happy first birthday to Lillian! It is birthday season here on LJ (and in my real life, too).
3. Ideas for making life more bearable:
1. Do yoga on Casper non-bath nights. Every non-bath night.
2. Develop new bedtime routine: mr. flea is in charge of Casper bedtime. I can go to bed as early as 8pm if I need to. I will not lie with Casper to help her fall asleep or go to her in the night unless it is clearly a nightmare. mr. flea can choose to do these things if he feels like it.
4. Although I was contemplating suicide (and spanking) last night at 9:45 as Casper screamed for me, it did have its amusing points. After screaming "Mommy!" about 50 times, she switched over and started screaming my actual name. Like maybe I was confused about who "Mommy" was, but surely I'd recognize my own name!
5. Unfortunately, some noise woke Casper and me at about 3:30 this morning - I think it was a possum in the recycling - and while she got quiet fast, I was then up (with a sore and throbbing toe! stubbed on mr. flea's sneaker!) until nearly 6. I can't win on the sleep thing - Casper keeps me up when I'm sleepy, and when it's quiet, I can't sleep.
