General Advice:
Apr. 13th, 2004 10:48 amMake every effort to plan so that you do NOT miss your airline flights. Particularly when you are traveling with a seven month old and a husband who is sick with something that causes green throat snot and a sore throat. Especially when the next direct flight is fully booked, so there are no standby seats, and then tere is no other direct flight until 12 hours later, so they send you to La Guardia with no guarantee that there will be seats on any flights to your final destination. Happily, there were. We got home at 3 PM; I'd gotten up at 3:45 AM, and we were supposed to be home by 8 AM.
If you DO have to have such a day of travel, I strongly suggest doing with with MY sick husband and baby, both of whom were well-nigh angelic. Nobody cried (not even me) and we were patient and friendly to each other and even the slowest check-in desk staff. Casper, as usual, made friends and caused spontaneous ovulation in strangers from Ohio to New York to our home airport. Where DID she get the charm gene from??
