fleaIf you ask her how old she is, she'll now answer, very quietly, "Two months old."
After a long and play-intensive bath, I finally pried her out of the tub tonight and she kept saying, "It's a heiney day." At least, I think that was what she was saying. Now, where I come from, heiney is a sort of kid's vaguely naughty word for butt, but it wasn't clear that she was using it in this sense. So as part of the heiney day, I guess, she decided to wear two of the stacking plastic cups that are a mainstay bath toy as shoes. There was much hobbling about (as they are too small to fit her whole foot, and so she ends up walking on tiptoes) and falling down. But she was very determined and walked about for 15 minutes, mostly clutching the furniture. As she was otherwise naked, the image was rather disturbing as well as comical; she looked like a cross between a hooker in four inch heels and Porky Pig. In addition to being cute, she has been a real pain in the ass this afternoon. Tired, whiny, and refusing to eat. Me bed now.

In other news, it seems to be Cranky Moon Phase time for lots of kids out there. My friends list and my real life is full of cranky toddler stories. Bleah!
