Lazy here on a slow day at work.
I think Casper may be working on erupting a molar. Must google toddler teeth. She has a weird bump in her mouth that looks right, but then I have this paranoia that she ate some wood chips from the playground and it's an infested wood chip wound in her mouth. (Note: pure paranoia. Casper has no fever, so no infection, and the bump is textbook 'tooth coming soon').
She was clingy last night and very clingy this morning, and was up FOUR times in the night. Every time I climbed back in bed, mr. flea said "hello, nice mommy."
MacIntosh apples - great for the tooth-impaired apple eater. Just remove skin and they are so soft that gnawing works! (Side note: ach to live in the south, far from real fall crisp-apple weather and decent cider in stores.)
Casper spent hours yesterday bring me books to read her. I read "The Monster at the end of this book" about 12 times. As might be expected, I am a total sucker for a kid who bring me a book and says "eh! eh!" One time I think she actually said something like "book."
Things she does say: "uh-oh." "oh no." "woah woah woah" also "wow wow wow" "go go go go go go" "muh muh muh." "gack" (=cat?) something unspellable that may mean cracker or quack, sort of sounds like both, and she says it when confronted with crackers or ducks. We may be fostering a lifelong confusion.
