ARRRRRRGH

The great rabbit massacree of 2007 has occurred.

Beans completely GONE. http://www.flickr.com/photos/casperflea/634426986/

Basil, too.

So frustrated. I work so hard to keep things alive in this infernal climate, and in one night - bam, all gone.

Wah.

Goddamn animals. Deer ate the tops of my peppers, tomatoes, and roses, so I feel your pain. Bastards.

Oh, how frustrating!!

It's so frustrating. I'm waiting for tomato season, when the squirrels, rabbits and chipmunks all take one bite out of tomato and then go on to the next one.

Are you sure it's not deer? That looks like it was taken on by a herd of rabbits.

Little punk rabbits in leather jackets. They're probably mugging neighborhood dogs. (It can't be deer - we're in a very urban neighborhood.)

I have the squirrel problem with tomatoes, too - I find it helps a lot to pick the tomatoes before they are fully ripe. They ripen fine in the kitchen and I lose a lot fewer.

That sucks. It looks like one of Mose's plagues went through your garden. I'm sorry.

You sure it wasn't a wererabbit?

I'd set up snares and have rabbit stew. They're already seasoned.

When this happened to me, I could finally understand why my neighbor used to go after the rabbits with a shotgun.

I could lend you a large dog to bark her fool head off in your back yard and scare the bunnies away...
