Dillo gone home sick

Which, given the rules about daycare and fevers, means my tomorrow is now all planned out. I am supposed to chaperone the field trip for Casper's class, but I can still do that unless he's very bad, which I doubt. Just a bad cold, and teething on top of it. Snot AND drool, and a very active tongue.

I still have sinus issues; am trying to keep it to one sudafed-containing product a day. Just took today's. I remember a news story about someone who'd nail-gunned his head and didn't realize it - I sort of feel like there's a nail pounded into one of my left molars and running up the sinus into my eye. I imagine a nail would hurt lots more, though - this is just a weirdly localized ache.

You should go to the doctor and find out if you have a sinus infection. Just pick one that's easy to get to either from home or work (and that takes your insurance, of course). If you don't like him or her, don't go back. Could you plead sickess (either of you or the Dillo, or both, for that matter), bow out of the field trip, and go to the doctor tomorrow?

Yeah, I called around at the end of last week - no new patient appointments when you're sick. So it's a $50 co-pay for Urgent Care if I want to see a doctor. Since I'm not feverish and am getting better (yet slowly) I can't see spending the $. If I were feeling really sick, or ran I fever, I would definitely go. I promise, ma!

When my sinuses are bugging me, sometimes I find ibuprofen or tylenol to be just as effective as sudafed. It might be worth a try to get through the times when you're not covered by the sudafed.
