follow-ups to the chicken email...

2. a couple of hours later, from the same poster:
"THIS IS A JOKE EMAIL!!!!
Appologies to all the wild chickens in the neighborhood that I may have offended. Also, thank you for all the offers to bring side dishes, but no, we are not having a neighborhood grill out.
And for all the chicken lovers out there, no we really would not throw the wild chicken on the grill, we prefer the plastic-wrap- foam-tray variety.

I heard about the chicken email kerfuffling and you-can't-take-a-joke-ing from an entirely different source at about mid-afternoon today. Y'all are crazy over on that side of the road.

(And that goes double for whoever prefers the foam-tray kind.)
