It's supposed to be in the upper 50's the next couple of days, so I bet there won't be a ton of snow left on the ground (at least by me...possibly a little more out more west). The rest of the weekend is gonna be lower 50's, so it should be niceish, except for the rain.

I'm curious about why the birth certificates? I have thought occasionally that I never travel with and ID for Ellie and maybe that's why?

Yes, for flying, just in case. I want to be able to prove they're my children, and Casper has a seat in her name. I've never actually been asked to produce any ID for a kid, but just in case, these days...

Dress code for boys likely is coat and tie, or anyway coat at least. For girls, pink sparkly eyeshadow (I can share).

I think the snow is likely to be gone, although we're hearing about sleet tonight. Rain boots probably a good idea.

What are you wearing, assuming pink sparkly eyeshadow will not be the sum total of your attire? I am thinking red cotton sweater (relatively dramatic but practical and warm) plus long black wool skirt, and mt best Danskos.

Bringing a suit jacket is a PITA. Damn.
