current insane passions

1. Ebay, for children's clothes. Especially because it is so incredibly easy to buy with Paypal. So far I am being sensible (have bought ONE useful thing at a good price). But, dang, it's tempting to run wild.

2. Matching outfits for the kids. My mother procured a navy gingham romper and a navy gingham dress, both Hanna Andersson, from ebay. But it was MY idea. I have a bid on a black corduroy jumper for next fall, and am watching for black corduroy pants. Stop me before I start coordinating MY outfits with my kids.

3. My cancer-stricken coworker has started losing her hair seriously, and I am kinda tempted to shave my head in support. But I don't think I could carry it off.

Signed, loopy on lack of sleep and too many carbs.

You could carry it off!

Plus it's fun in a tactile, crushed velvet way.

I should probably encourage JZ to fish eBay for baby clothes.

eBay = how so much Hanna came into my life.

DANGEROUS.

I need to get some more 80s. Hmm.

Ebay -- sweet fancy Moses, I've got every single size 6/6X Lilly Pulitzer animal print item on there on my watch list. Most of them are still too expensive (I won't spend $30 on a dress for Chuckles brand new, let alone used) but every so often a steal pops up. I got a snail print dress for $13 and a dress with kangaroos and Easter eggs for $2.95, and she is THRILLED with them. It cracks me up that my eccentric kid is now devoted to an uber-preppy designer, but hardly anyone else does such fun animal prints!
